Love Day

Our Valentines Day really was a Valentines weekend. It began with getting a knock at the door from the UPS man. I love packages and even more I LOVE SUPRISES. and was so excited to see what Mr UPS man had brought us. When I opened the door I saw this. I was so excited! I tore open the box and found these! Aren't they breathtaking?!? Our Sweet Meleta had sent us roses and chocolates! This had made my day, perhaps even weekend! On Saturday Ryan and I took "Our Day". We dropped the babe off at Grandma's house and out we went to paint the town. As sad as it is we had no clue what we were gonna do and thought we just might grab something to eat and then be back to grab the little guy. Don't we sound SO romantic! Before you count us as lame read on. The day actually turned out to be really fun! We ended up going to Sizzler for dinner. I tried my very first Philli Cheesesteak Sandwich. It was super yummy and I highly recomment it! Ryan got Malibu Chicken. I'll just say we were quite pleased with our choice of meal. Afterward we tried to go see a movie, which failed miserably. There was nothing good! So, instead we went bowling. Now before you decide that we had the most cliche of cliche days I need to tell you, this was only the second time that Ryan and I had ever gone bowling. The first time was last Valentines day. Sounds like its becoming our tradition. Ryan kicked my trash every time, but I still had a blast. OK, so maybe we are really lame but I had a great day and mostly it was so fun be out with my sweetheart, just him and me! Sunday was another great day! We got up and all three of us attempted our first week back at church together. It was so fun to be able to sit with my family and enjoy class. That night we had a great family dinner! I used my fabulous cooking skills (for anyone that has eaten my food, we know that is so not true) and made a yummy roast dinner along with rolls, mashed potatoes, veggies, etc.) It was yummy and the company was even better! Ryan and I also exchanged gifts. He got me a hands free set for the car that I have been wanting forever and an awesome yoga mat! What a sweet husband I have. He is also going to get me a treadmill!!!! Wahoo! Thanks babe! Those were perfect suprises! His presents weren't as fun. I got him some of his favorite treats, a ski trip, and shelves for the office (he wants to make a library with walls full of books). I also attempted to make some yummy Valentines Day treats. They didn't turn out so well but I sure tried! Overall it was a good Valentines Day Weekend! I couldn't help but think about how lucky I am. I have the most amazing husband a girl could ever ask for. Besides the few occasional pushes down the stairs he is absolutely perfect for me! (For those of you that are now alarmed note: the push down the stairs is Ryan's joke. He really doesn't) He is a hard worker, an amazing father, so patient with me. So full of love, kind, funny, generous, selfless, great communicator, he understands me, and he always knows how to put a smile on my face and make me laugh! I love him so much!
