Shoes…

Thought I would just post this. Look at this kid's shoes! I'm pretty sure he is the only 5 month old on the planet with so many shoes. In this mix you can find a pair of Sketchers, Nikes, and even some cute little boat deck shoes. Cayson even has more, but these are all the pairs that fit him as of right now. Is there any doubt that this is Ryan's son?

Cayson Updates

Cayson is now 5.5 months old. As always, he is growing up way way too fast. Nothing much has changed since the last update. He did just barely find his toes. He loves to grab and play with them. It is the cutest thing. I think it took him so long to find them because for the first time in his life we haven't been putting shoes on him as much. Poor kid doesn't even know what his own feet look like.

Cayson loves, loves, loves his toys and will even be content to just sit (well lay, he hasn't mastered the sitting up thing yet - but we are working on it) and play while I get things done around the house. I can leave the room for a few minutes and he just plays.

We have started him on cereal now and did sneak in some sweet potatoes. He loves the cereal. Heck, he loves food. Whenever we are sitting at the table eating dinner he just wines and wines until mom or dad finds something on our plates that he can eat.

He is still on his three hour schedule, but doesn't like his naps as much anymore. There is just too much he wants to do. Laying his head down and resting those tired eyes are obviously not included in his daily agenda.

Cayson loves to be upside down. He loves all the tricks dad does with him. My favorite is when dad throws him in the air his hands go up to his face and he gets a big ole grin. I should mention here that daddy still is by far his favorite person. Nobody gets smiles and attention quite like dad does. I think it is so adorable. Ryan is such a good daddy.

Cayson loves to be outside. I think he loves all that there is to see out there. Assuming the weather ever decides to be good we will be spending the majority of our time on walks and at the park.

I think Cayson is getting closer to crawling. He will actually stay on his tummy for a little longer now and just kicks his feet. I was convinced he would never crawl, but would be running first… but I am beginning to have a bit of hope.

Hmmm… I think that about covers it

Cayson is such a stud. Brooklyn also had way more shoes than a baby really needs but they're so dang cute I just can't help myself.
