I love events! I love atmosphere! I love Holidays! So I must admit I was a little sad when I realized our 4th of July was going to be a little different this year. First, we were not going to be able to attend fireworks due to Cayson's distaste to loud noises. In addition, we were going to miss the local parade I love attending. Surprisingly though, our 4th of July turned out to be extremely fun!
We started our weekend with a fun day trip to Richfield to welcome home our new little niece, Taylee! We made it to Richfield before baby Taylee made it home so we spent the afternoon with the in-laws and little Brielle! It was so much fun! Cayson loved lounging in the pool and Randy and Ryan had a blast with their made up game where they tried to outdo one another in how many times they could hit a ball in the air with a pvc pipe. Ryan's dad even joined in. Ryan took the winnings with 19 hits! Wahoo! I wish I would have snapped some photos, but I didn't.
Sweet little Taylee! I love her!

Meeting Taylee was quite a treat. She is such a sweet adorable little girl! It was also great to spend time with Robyn and Travis! In all the day was fabulous!
Sunday was an ordinary day. That night though, I peeked outside and saw the most amazing fireworks right across the street. Yep, the big illegal ones were right outside! We were also able to see fireworks all throughout the valley, right from our front porch! I loved it! Ryan on the other hand was not interested. I tried to explain the romance in it all and he just couldn't quite get it! What a boy! Oh well, I enjoyed myself!
Monday we went for a hike up Doughnut Falls with our dear friends Chanthoeun and Casey! Afterward we went to Sugarhouse Park for a yummy picnic! It was a perfect ending to a great weekend!
