Dec 25th A.K.A. CHRISTMAS!!!

Well Christmas Day has already come and gone. We are finishing up the year and in a few days it will be 2011. Every year I ask where does time go?

I must say we had a WONDERFUL Christmas as always.

We spent Christmas Eve with Ryan's family… which is ALWAYS a fun party. Brielle and Cayson are now old enough to play together. I think that was my favorite part. Brielle would walk around saying "buddy" come play. It was adorable.

We played a little ping pong…

BINGO…

Exchanged Presents…

Won some awesome white elephants gifts…

Like Robyn's teeth mold on a string…

Later we played the money game…

Ruth won the entire lot…

We had a fantastic time…

I don't think it is possible to have married into a better family.

On Christmas morning we actually slept in. I think that this is the first year that we have ever done that. Cayson even slept in until eight or nine. I was able to get a few things done before the boys woke up which was a great start to the day. When they did get up we opened our stockings.

Santa left us quite a haul including movies, treats, jewelry, some gift cards including one to LA CAILLE! I am so excited! I have always wanted to go there but it is so blasted expensive! How did Santa know it was just what I wanted?

After the stockings it was off to Grandma and Grandpa Reilley's house. We enjoyed a wonderful meal and opened some awesome presents. Cayson was spoiled with clothes, books, and toys. Ryan and I got food storage and this cool little water purifier… This thing can take water with dirt in it and purify it. I am telling you it is the coolest thing!

Cayson quickly got tired so we went home and he took a nap while Ryan and I exchanged gifts.

Ryan got his long awaited NOOK along with a coat, and millions of plaid shirts

I got some boots, shirt, pedometer, a SNUGGIE!, and an awesome foot bath that has the attachments to give myself pedicures… for those that see me in the summer know that I really really needed one of these!

When Cayson woke up he opened his present.

We actually had a bunch for him but he loved the present he opened so much that we never did get around to opening the others…

(I guess those presents can wait until the next holiday.)

Later Ryan's family along with Granny Bev and Nelly stopped by. Once again we were spoiled; Cayson with more books, clothes, and toys. Ryan received an air compressor and clothes. I got a gift card, the coziest blanket EVER, and a card table!

During that time my missionary brother Caleb called. It was so good to hear from him and know that he is doing well.

That evening we headed over to Meleta's. We had a nice meal and were able to SKYPE with Ben, my other missionary brother. It was good to see and chat with him. We were spoiled with more toys and money. It didn't stop.

For some reason I never pulled out the camera… I think we had too much fun chatting with Ben.

When we got home Megan and Taylor came over so Cayson could open his present from them… this super cozy pillow handmade by Megan… as you can see Cayson LOVED it!

We then tucked Cayson into bed and I sat down to enjoy my new toy!

Amidst all the gifts the best part of Christmas was enjoying it with the family. I know I say this all the time but I feel so blessed to have such an incredible husband and son. Thinking back on my life I never imagined that such happiness was out there. Ryan makes me the happiest girl in the world and I feel lucky to have spent yet another year with him! To add to that I have such an amazing little boy who brings me such joy! Knowing that I can be with them forever because of our Savior is such an amazing feeling! I am so grateful for our Savior and for His sacrifice he made for me. I am grateful for this season that allows me to take a step back and remember His birth, life, example, and Atonement. Here is to another year!
