(Please note: Ryan forgot his camera and I temporarily lost mine before this little vacation. So this will be a long drawn out monologue with only a few pictures of our little trip taken from our phones.)
I mentioned September 4th was our two year anniversary. To celebrate Ryan and I went and stayed in Park City. We had quite a wonderful weekend. Yes, we even left Cayson overnight with Grandma and Grandpa Rhodes. This was the first time I was going to be away from him overnight so I admit I was a bit apprehensive but it actually was a nice little break! Thanks Grandma and Grandpa!
Since Ryan travels quite a bit for work we are able to stay at hotels for free. We decided that we would stay at the Hampton right next to the outlets for easy shopping access. Friday night we went to dinner at Ruby Tuesday's. It was delicious… especially my great big virgin Pina Colada. (Yes, that is my idea of living on the edge) After that we headed to downtown Park City and walked around. We wanted to ride the tram up to watch the sunset but it was a little chilly. We still enjoyed ourselves on our little walk though.
The next day we enjoyed the hotel's yummy continental breakfast then made our way over to the outlets. There I found me the perfect purse to go along with my new awesome pants Ryan had gotten me for our anniversary.
Ryan picked up these hot jackets at Wilson Leather. Doesn't he look amazing in them?
After the outlets we made our way back to Salt Lake. We stopped for lunch at a new place Ryan had found and wanted me to check out. They had delicious Philly Cheese Steak Sandwiches. Afterward we went to Jordan Landing to enjoy a movie. Our first movie, I might add, since Cayson was born. Needless to say I had been dying to go see one. With way too many good movies to choose from, we finally decided to see Despicable Me. What a cute movie.
That is where our celebration ended. We went and picked up the babe and came back to reality. It was such a nice little get away though. I loved being able to spend some quality time with my husband!
