This Valentine's Day was pretty low key but fabulous just the same!
After getting up extra early and getting all of our stuff done, Cayson and I headed out to make our deliveries. After trying hard and failing miserably at the treats last year, I decided this year I would make it nice and easy and grab some doughnuts at the Dunford Bakery.
After all… who can pass up a yummy fresh made doughnut right?
After a few deliveries we met up with Ryan and had some delicious Chinese gourmet. I failed to take pictures but it was super yummy and fun.
Later that day Cayson and I went on a walk. (His all-time favorite thing to do!) It was 50 degrees that day!
While we were walking I saw this tree and had to take a picture. It was budding. (Is that even a word?) I was so excited! Spring is on its way!
That night Ryan came home with these gorgeous flowers. (Purple is my favorite color- they were perfect)
On Saturday Ryan and I went out ALL BY OURSELVES (which as parents we rarely are able to do) to La Caille. It was phenomenal. I didn't think it would be worth the money, and it wasn't, but with the coupon it was! I think we were a little out of our league dressed in our plaid shirts in contrast to the high end clothed, high class couple across the way whom obviously are at La Caille because they have nothing better to do with their money. I didn't care, I like my low class life and I like that it allows me to visit these fabulous places every now and then.
I sure love my family, friends, and especially my boys!
Happy (late) Valentine's Day everyone!
