Just another week

In my last post I made a goal that I would write three things of interest that happened the past week. I didn't think it would be too hard. That is until now. As I sit down to write I really don't have anything. So I will do my best.

1. At times I would like to think that I am an ok mom. My child gets fed and clothed each day. We try to play and read and do those things that help him to develop and grow. Then there are days like today. I asked Cayson if he wanted to go to church. "Church" he replied. I was a beaming mother. My young child was already learning religious words. Then we got home and he did a number in his diaper. I asked him if we should change his smelly butt. "Butt", he replied. That's when I knew I wasn't quite the mom I had hoped. Other mothers are so proper and use words like toosh and even bum… but not me… I taught my child to say "butt".

    

2. Remember how beautiful it was the past couple of weeks. Remember how the flower PROVED summer was coming. Well that poor flower is now shriveled up and dead. Why?!? because it snowed all last week. I am not talking a drizzle here and there. I am talking about full blown snow falls. Never mind that it is APRIL 10. I LOVE SALT LAKE!

    

3. Cayson has to go back to the urologist. The other day he may have peed in the tub and it might have shot straight to the left which means that the surgery he had last June probably didn't work. Do Dr's have a money back guarantee? .,, cause they should!

    

   And there you have… our week in review… which will most likely be the only week in review… because that was tough!
